Where is the ASD convention located in New York?
ASD is located at the Jacobs K. Javits Convention Center located at 655 West 34th Street, New York, NY 10001-1114.

Do I need to register for each ASD New York event separately?
Yes, you must register for each separate event so that we have the most current information for your business. Think of it as an RSVP to let us know you are coming to the show! Please check our website www.asdonline.com for updates regarding registration information.
Who can attend?
This is a Trade only event - qualified buyers and industry professionals only. This show is NOT open to the public. ASD New York is a wholesale business to business marketplace. As this is a place of business, no one under the age of 16 is allowed on the show floor, no exceptions.
How do I register?
Click on the registration box at the upper right corner of this page. If registration happens to be closed for a particular show, you can sign up to receive an email reminder once registration is open.
What is the cost to attend?
There is no cost to attend as a qualified Buyer.
What are the registration requirements?
To be qualified as a buyer you must provide a business license or sales tax ID# to prove you can purchase wholesale goods.
If you are registering onsite you will need to provide at least 2 of the following documents:
- Business license or Tax ID #
- Business card
- Resale certificate
- Company check or company credit card
How will I know I am registered?
Once you register online you will receive an automated email confirmation to confirm your registration. This confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide so it is very important for us to have your direct email address so you can receive your confirmation. If you register by fax or mail, you will only receive an email confirmation if you have completed all the required demographics and provided an email address. Please note: Please allow up to 2 weeks for fax or mail registrations. If you still have questions regarding your registration please call our registration department toll free (800)748-5058.
When will I receive my badge?
BADGES WILL NOT BE MAILED. You must print and bring your confirmation page to the show site to print out your badge. Just like you do at the airline when you print your boarding pass.
Are hotel discounts being offered?
YES! ASD negotiates special hotel rates for our trade show. We encourage you to book your hotel at one of our official hotels. Note that ASD runs a free shuttle from the convention center to Penn Station on a daily basis to transport you back and forth to the show. - Trade only event – not open to the general public, a person must be a qualified buyer to attend.
- No strollers or wheeled bags (larger than 18" H x 12" W) on the show floor at any time.
- No one under the age of 16 on the show floor at any time. No exceptions. • No camera/video recorders at any time.
- No smoking.
- Attendee hereby releases Nielsen Business Media from any and all liability, claims, lawsuits, damages, losses, costs and expenses of any kind which arise out of/or result from attendee's attendance at the event, whether or not foreseeable, including without limitation, personal injuries to exhibitor or his/her invitees.
Are there wheelchair and scooter rentals available at the show?
No, unfortunately there is no wheelchair or scooter rentals within the Javits Center. However, you can contact the following companies for scooter/wheelchair rental:

American Disabilities Act
Nielsen is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. In accordance with the ADA rules, attendees requiring specific aids or services must contact ASD in writing at least two weeks prior to the start date of any ASD tradeshow. How can I obtain a Visa letter invitation for the ASD Las Vegas Show?
